WE ARE ON
THE MAIN STREET OF KIEV!
We are owned by backpackers for backpackers. All members of our
staff are fluent in English.
Our hostel consists of one 10-bed dorm, one private room, a common
room, bathroom, toilet and a fully equipped kitchen guests can prepare
food in.
It is a bright place with big windows in every room. We have
air-conditioning and fly-screens in our dorms, so no bug bites while
you are sleeping. Our common room has a plasma TV, DVD player and
English TV programs. We have a safe in which you can leave your
valuables and there are convenience lockers in the dorm.
We have fire equipment.
We can provide stamped booking confirmation letters for your
Ukrainian visa application support free of charge.
If you wish to travel further through Ukraine after your stay with
us in Kiev, we can recommend nice, safe and officially HI-recognized
hostels in other cities of the country.
Our hostel was opened with the idea of being a good hostel that we
would like to stay in ourselves – this is why everything is so relaxed
and at hand.
NOTE: we are NOT a sex-tourist friendly hostel –
if you are coming for women and cheap booze, you better find another
place. We have ZERO-TOLERANCE for bad, drunken behaviour and bad
language towards other guests or members of the staff.

Check-in time is 12:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
However, if you require earlier or later check-in or check-out
times, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to make all
necessary arrangements that would suit you best. If you arrive earlier,
you are always welcome to have a shower and leave your luggage with us
until your bed is available.
We promise you the best quality and the best location for a very
low price in Kiev.
You will certainly get the friendly helpful service that only
Ukrainians can give but with the efficiency, safety and quality control
of western management.
Guests are welcome to bring their friends – however, it is a hostel
policy that they cannot stay overnight.

DIRECTIONS
From the Train Station:
Take the metro (this will be the Vokzalna metro station) and get off on
the Kreshatik station (3 stops). Once you are out on the Kreshatik
street – the main street of Kiev, – cross the street, turn to the right
and walk ahead for about 5 minutes towards the Independence Square.
Cross the square underground, leave it behind and walk for another 5
minutes – keep watching for the number 8 building. Walk through the
passage into the inner court, go till the end of it and you will see a
door on the right hand. Enter it (there is a code lock on the door but
it doesn't work, so don't worry about it), go up onto the 4th floor and
you will see a sign "TIU Kreschatik" on the door – here you are,
welcome!
From the airport:
Take a shuttle bus to the Central Train Station – these run 24 hours
and cost about 30 UAH (around 3 EURO), – once on the Train Station,
follow the instructions above.
From the main / international bus
station:
Walk to the Lybidska metro station (10-15 minutes), take the metro and
go to the Maidan Nezalezhnosti station (i.e. Independence Square). Once
out of the metro on the Independence Square, turn towards the Dnieper
river on the Kreschatik street left side and follow the instructions
above.

Please note that we welcome everyone irrespective of age, gender,
political views etc.! If you are a member of the Hostelling
International and have a valid card, you get a special member price in
all official HI hostels (MINUS 1 EURO per night per person), which will
be discounted from your "Balance Due" upon your arrival. Membership
cards can be bought at your National Youth Hostel Association (visit www.hihostels.com for contact
details of your national association) or in one of our hostels in
Ukraine.

inspections by the Ukrainian official bodies: Fire Department, Sanitary
Inspection, Consumer Rights Protection Committee, Police and Tax

quality inspector will thoroughly investigate every complaint on an
