Hills Chatyrdag and Demerdzhy
The fantastic beauty of this part of Crimea has not been fully appreciated by domestic film directors yet, though many adventure films of the Soviet epoch were shot here. And that’s the right place! One can assert, without exaggeration, that such riches of mountain and wild nature landscapes can hardly be found even in the most beautiful parts of the world. And all this is rather accessible and safe. Romantic person will obtain complete satisfaction here, will be full with greatness of the nature and infinity of talent of its Creator. Person dreaming of solitude will find it in picturesque part at the bottom of Northern Demerzhy, and the patience of a hardy person will be rewarded by bathing in one of the most beautiful waterfalls - Dzhur- Dzhur.

Day 4

Ascent to the top plateau of Chatyrdag. Descending to the Kutuzovskoe lake. Overnight stop in tents near Kutuzovskoe lake. Dinner is a dry ration, breakfast and supper - preparation on your own on a campfire. |
Day 5

Transfer to Angarsky pass (724 ì). A walk to Demerzhy hill and to Dzhurla spring. Overnight stop in tents Dzhurla spring. Dinner is a dry ration, breakfast and supper - preparation on your own on a campfire.

Guided tour to the “Valley of Ghosts”. Overnight stop in tents near Dzhurla spring. Dinner is a dry ration, breakfast and supper - preparation on your own on a campfire.

A walk to the Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall. Seeing the waterfall. Transfer to the Solnechnogorskoe village. Dinner is a dry ration. Overnight stop in tents at the sea shore. (transfer to Alushta and lodging for the night in one of the hotels is also possible). Breakfast and supper - preparation on your own on a campfire.

Demerji
|
Demerji is good both at morning dawn, during midday heat, and in crimson beams of sunset. Throughout many thousand years wind and water modeled its stone forms, minted columns and towers. Mane people are attracted to its green and pink rocks, mysterious blue gorges.
There are more than a million of cubic meters of fragments are concentrated in the collapse. The size of the biggest fragment devided with a creak is about 2000 cubic meters. There's a path winding between large stones of the rockfall and thin dogrose bushes; there's a route mark on one of the stones.
There are a familiar rock well seen from the trollybus way from Simferopol to Alushta. It is often callse Katherine's Head. From a short distance the rock rather resembles Sphynx head. At the Head the path forks. We should go to the right along a slope by rocky rockfalls to a little pass between Northern and Southern Demerji. This path is very convenient: it has no steep slopes and in five minutes of walk from the pass we rise to the top of Southern Demerji.
Here they are – blue shell of the sea, emerald mountains, lit by golden sunrays, gardens around Alushta, vineyards.
Waterfall Dzur- Dzur

The most power waterfall of the Crimea Dzur- Dzur. In deep gorge Haphal the waterfall Dzur-Dzur is hiding. It is not dry up even in the most arid years. From the rock ledge with high of 15 m the water dash down by widely vertical slope of stream, to 5 m. The moss-grown rocks serve as a background for beautiful light of the clean water.

The "Valley of the ghost's"
The Sun and the Sky make such astonishing mountain, there is no any like it in all the Crimea.
How many hours have the day, so many colors the Demerdgy mountains are changing, as if the slopes are iridescent. The rains are washing the boulders, which are like the fortresses, columns and ruins of the castles, they are working at the rock's massive the contours of the new heroes of old legends. This place calls the "Valley of the ghost's" and if you are lucky you will see during the sunrise the real "Brokken`s apparition". A lot of legends and fairies are binding together with such unusual place. The ruins of the ancient fortress "Funa" are promote for this, in old days it stand guard the paths of this places.
The Marble Cave
One of the most beautiful caves of Crimea and the whole world - The Marble Cave - was found in 1987, and its discovery had become a grandiose event in the world science. Total length of the underground galleries reaches 2,050 metres. The biggest of the halls - it is also the biggest in Crimea - has an area of 5,000 sq. metres and its ceiling is 27 metres high, which equals the height of 9-storeyd building.
Unique underground decoration of the Marble Cave is open for tourists. In the Fairy Tales Gallery there live little Elephant and Mammoth, the Master of the Cave and the Frog Queen, marble Dragon Head and Jack Frost - this is an incomplete list of creations of the genuine sculptor - Nature!
Amazing icicle curtains, stone waterfalls, little lakes cascades, cave pearls scattering... This astonishing cave complex is one of the most popular excursion sites in Crimea.

Alushta
Mighty and beautiful mountains surround Alushta amphitheater: there's Babugan mountain massive westward, Chatyrdag to the north. There is Kastel mountain behind Alushta near the sea, and after it Bear Mountain. Green top of Chamni-Burun is seen close to a bare skull of Babugan Mountain. Agis-Hir ridge with Kebit-Bogas Pass goes between Babugan plateau and Chatyrdag. Black mountain, Chuchel mountain and Basman mountain are situated behind it. Angarskiy Pass goes from Demerji plateau to Chatyrdag. Tirka mountain adjoins Demerji from the north.
